So, sharing the recipe today with a quick video and hope you all try it out and share the feedback with me.
An Easy Tomato Chutney Recipe
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/2 cup Coconut grated
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 2 tbsp Roasted gram
- Salt to taste
- 1/8 tsp Asafoetida / hing
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
Add 1 tsp oil in a frying pan.
Add chopped onions, green chillies, tomatoes and saute for few minutes. Transfer the content in a bowl and let it cool down.
Add grated coconut, sauteed onion-tomato, roasted gram in your blender and blitz it.
Transfer it into a bowl and add salt to taste.
Add 1 tsp oil in a small frying pan and add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds crackle, add asafoetida and add this tempering into the chutney.
Serve it for breakfast with dosa, idli, uttapam etc.
