Coriander chutney is a popular condiment mainly made with coriander leaves. Did yo know coriander leaves are natural coolant and has many more health benefits? I don’t know who invented chutney but it is something which enhances many of our Indian dishes. Add some chutney to dosas, sandwiches and it takes the food to another level. This chutney goes well with dosa, idli etc..

Coriander Coconut Chutney
Make delicious chutney with a combination of cilantro and coconut!
Ingredients
- Cilantro/ Fresh Coriander leaves - 1 cup
- Fresh Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- roasted gram/pottukadalai - 1/4 cup
- green chillies - 2
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
Instructions

Add fresh coriander leaves, grated coconut, roasted gram, green chillies in your blender and blitz it to make a paste.

Add very little water to make a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl and add salt to taste.

Take a small frying pan and add oil to it. When oil is warm add mustard seeds and asafoetida. When mustard seeds crackle, add it to the chutney.
