Paneer Bhurji is one of the easiest dishes which can be made in 10 minutes and can be used as a filling for various other dishes or can be simply served as a curry with flat bread. It is basically made with crumbled cottage cheese and enhanced by adding different spices. I have used home-made garam masala to enhance the flavor of this curry. So, sharing a simple curry recipe which can be made with simple ingredients..
- Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 200 gm
- Onions - 1 finely chopped
- Tomatoes - 2 finely chopped
- grated ginger - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Home-made Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp
Crumble paneer and keep it ready. Take a frying pan and add oil.
When the oil is warm, add cumin seeds and onion and saute it.
When the onions turn translucent, add ginger and tomatoes and saute it for a minute till tomatoes are mushy.
Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilly powder and mix it well.
Add crumbled paneer and salt to taste. Cook and stir for few minutes on medium flame.
Transfer the content in a bowl and garnish it with some coriander leaves before serving.
