Aloo Paratha
Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 Boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 tsp Ajwain/ Carom Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
- 1 green chillies finely Chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
Instructions

Add whole wheat flour and salt in a bowl and knead it by adding little by little water to make a smooth and stiff dough.

Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil and knead again. Set it aside for 15-20 minutes.

Take a bowl and add mashed potatoes, ajwain, salt, garam masala, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder and mix it well.

Take a portion of the dough and make a medium sized ball.

Dust the ball with dry floor and roll out a portion of dough using rolling pin.

Make a small ball of the filling and place it in the center.

Now start closing it from all ends. Lightly dust it with dry flour and roll it evenily in a round shape using a rolling pin.

Heat a tawa/griddle for a minute. Place the flattened dough and cook for a minute. Turn it and let the other side also cook till it starts turning brown. Add little ghee on both sides and remove from the flame.

Serve it hot with some curd and pickle.
