Have you wondered what to do with leftover dal? Well, here’s a solution. I made dal paratha for breakfast with leftover dal and all loved it! It looks attractive and its a hit with my little one. I shaped it as triangle paratha today.

Dal Paratha Recipe
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Cooked dal
- 2 cups Wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tbsp corainder leaves finely chopped
Instructions

Add dal, wheat flour, turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander leaves and salt in a mixing bowl and knead to make a soft dough. You can add little water (1/4th cup).

Add 1 tsp oil and knead again. Close the bowl and set aside for 20 minutes.

Now make them into small balls. Dust with dry flour and Roll out the small ball into a roti and spread a little ghee on it.

Fold it as half circle and fold again to make it look like a triangle.

Dust with dry flour and Roll it in triangle shape.

Now cook it on a tawa till both sides are little golden brown. Apply ghee on both sides. Serve hot with some curd or pickle topped it with butter.
