Children grow up so fast…I feel like he was born yesterday only and now my little boy has started going to kindergarten school. Even now when I see him sleeping, I feel he’s so little and how can I send him out in the world but I guess I have to harden myself and leave him to learn and mould and grow 🙂 …He has a sweet tooth like me and wanted to make something sweet to treat him for his first few days of school. So, I finally decided to make some besan ladoos and it definitely brought a big smile on my face to see him relish the sweet. Besan ladoo is one of the most popular sweet in North India and specially made during festivals like Diwali..It is mainly made with 3 ingredients and loaded with ghee.
Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the biggest festival celebrated in India. I love this festival as everything around you looks so bright and beautiful with different colours of lights. Everyone seems to be excited to decorate their homes, wear new clothes and light up small diyas..
So, sharing a step-wise recipe to make some delicious Besan ke laddu and hope you try this diwali season and enjoy with your family and friends. You can also check other sweet recipes on my blog like Gulab Jamun, Gajar Halwa etc..

I have a sweet tooth too! Will you pack me a lunch box with these in them and send me off to work??! These are perfectly made Priya, I can't believe how round they are! When are you making a cookbook? I would be so thrilled to have a cookbook of your recipes. Indian food here in Australia is so oily. Delicious but really oily. Your recipes are so different but so delicious! I still regularly make the cauliflower curry 🙂
