Masala Paratha is a delicious breakfast which I love to serve for my family with some curd and pickle. My son who doesn’t like curd enjoys it with ketchup. I even pack it in his lunch box. It is easy to prepare with easily available ingredients and simply delicious!

Masala Paratha Recipe
Ingredients
- Whole wheat flour/atta – 2 cup
- Kasuri methi/dried fenugreek leaves – 2 tbsp
- Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil or ghee – 1 tbsp (to prepare dough)
- Ghee – 4 tbsp
Instructions

Combine wheat flour, kasuri methi, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt in a bowl.

Now slowly start adding water and knead to set a dough.

Add 1 tbsp oil and knead again. Set it aside for 20 minutes.

Take a medium sized ball of dough and dust it with dry flour.

Now flatten it as thin as possible. Spread some ghee or oil on the flattened disc and fold it as shown in the video. Roll it in square shape.

Heat the tava or griddle for 1 minute as the griddle should be hot. Place the paratha on the griddle and turn after a minute. Now again cook for a minute till both sides are lightly browned. Apply ghee lightly and flip again few times. Serve it hot with Curry and Raita.
