Its season for strawberries and recently got this box of mejdool dates from a nearby store and thought of making a smoothie today with it. Dates are natural energy boosters as rich in iron. They have natural sweetness and perfectly blend with strawberries.. Start your day off right with a cool, refreshing smoothie and enjoy!

Serving – 2
Ingredients:
1/2 cup strawberries (hulled and chopped)
1/2 cup Mejdool dates (pitted)
1 cup Skimmed Milk
1 cup yogurt
1 cup ice cubes
Pinch of Green Cardamom powder
Method:
Microwave dates in little milk for 1 minute which will make it soft. Add all ingredients except ice in your blender or food processor and blitz it until smooth. Now add ice and blitz it until thick and smooth and enjoy!!

Search for green cardamom. Peel it and powder and add. It adds a nice flavour and aroma 🙂
