These low fat cumin cookies made with minimum oil is a guilt-free snack. I was in a baking mood and wanted to make something light to have with my evening tea. I’m glad I tried these cookies today as my family simply loved them and the whole lot got finished within minutes :).. You all must be wondering why a toy car is there in the picture..Its my little ones idea who brought his car and asked me to take a picture with it :)..
So, sharing the recipe for egg-free Low fat cumin cookies and hope you all try it too..
Low fat Cumin Cookies

Make low fat cookies with
Ingredients
- Whole Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Maida /All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
- Pepper Corn – 6 (roasted and crushed)
- Kasoori methi/dried fenugreek leaves – 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Olive Oil – 3 tbsp
- Milk – 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Add wheat flour, all purpose flour, cumin seeds, kasoori methi, crushed pepper, baking soda, sugar, salt and oil in a mixing bowl and mix well. Add the milk and knead to make a stiff dough.
- Take a small portion of dough and flatten it gently with your hands and place it on cookie tray. You can also flatten the dough with a rolling pin and cut it with a cookie cutter to give different shapes.
- Preheat oven at 180 °C.
- Set the timer for 20 minutes and place the cookie tray for baking at the same temperature.
- When the edges start turning golden, remove from the oven and place them on wire rack for cooling.
- When they have completely cooled down store them in an air-tight container.
- These cookies are a perfect guilt-free snacks with your evening tea/coffee 🙂
