People see going to the spa as an extravagance or an indulgence for a special occasion. The rooms were spic and span and the therapist well-groomed. After discussing my requirements, I was suggested a oil massage. I loved every moment of it! The therapist was well trained and knew exactly which tissue to touch and where to put pressure. All their therapists are certified and that makes the entire experience professional. After spending an hour with the therapist, I walked out a different person. My sore back had vanished and I decided to make the therapy a part of my regular routine. I find myself more relaxed. It has lead to an increase in my overall self confidence and self esteem.
Gone are the days when spas can be looked at as a rich mans pass time. The role these spas play in managing stress levels and physical well being cannot be neglected and due importance has to be given to them as much as to any alternative practices that ensure physical well being. You can even think of indulging yourself in an occasional couple therapy which will help to bond with your partner. I’m even discussing of a possibility with my friends of enjoying a girls day out at the spa center.
