Atte ka halwa is a delicious dessert made with wheat flour. I’m sharing the recipe with a quick video today. It is so easy to prepare and need few basic ingredients. It is an aromatic dessert and will simply melt in your mouth.

I remember eating it for the first time in a Gurudwara in Delhi. It is known as kada parshad. I simply loved it! I often make Gajar ka halwa for the love of Delhi carrots and atte ka halwa is another favorite of mine. so, check out the recipe and try it out too!
Atte Ka Halwa
- 1 cup Atta/ Wheat flour
- 1/2 cup Ghee/clarified butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2 Green Cardmom powdered
- 6 Cashews broken
Add sugar and water in a sauce pan and let it boil. keep stirring till sugar dissolves and remove from flame.
Heat ghee in a frying pan and add wheat flour. Lower the flame and cook the flour in ghee for minimum 8-10 minutes. Keep stirring.
Now add sugar syrup slowly and keep stirring. Be careful while adding sugar syrup as it will splash.
Once it combines well, remove from the flame and add powdered cardamom powder.
Roast cashews in 1 tsp ghee and garnish it on halwa.
