  • 2 tsp Chaat masala or Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  • vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Add besan, rice flour, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and salt in a bowl. Add water little by little and make a smooth batter. add 1 tsp hot oil in the end and mix well.

  2. In another bowl, add chaat masala, salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, jaggery, salt to taste and mix it well to make a mixture of spices and keep it aside.

  3. Wash and dry the okra. remove the sides and slit it lengthwise. Fill the spice mixture into it and keep it ready.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan and check if oil is ready. You can check by dropping a small ball of the dough in the hot oil and if it immediately comes on top, oil is ready.

Now these Bhindi Pakoras look so scrumptious. I made once potato pakoras and now I have something new to be added to my favorite Indian delicacies! Absolutely scrumptious!
