Coriander Coconut Chutney

Make delicious chutney with a combination of cilantro and coconut!

Ingredients

  • Cilantro/ Fresh Coriander leaves - 1 cup
  • Fresh Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • roasted gram/pottukadalai - 1/4 cup
  • green chillies - 2
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp

Instructions

  1. Add fresh coriander leaves, grated coconut, roasted gram, green chillies in your blender and blitz it to make a paste.
  2. Add very little water to make a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl and add salt to taste.
  3. Take a small frying pan and add oil to it. When oil is warm add mustard seeds and asafoetida. When mustard seeds crackle, add it to the chutney.
