Coconut Bournvita Burfi

  • 2 cups Freshly grated coconut
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp Bournvita
  • 2 tbsp ghee


  1. Heat a heavy bottomed pan or a non-stick pan and add 1 tbsp ghee to it.

  2. Add freshly desiccated coconut, milk, bournvita and sugar and mix it well.

  3. Keep stirring and cook on low flame.

  4. Once it starts thickening, add 1 tbsp ghee and stir again.

  5. Grease a square pan with ghee and Pour the mixture into it and spreads evenly.

  6. When it cools down cut it into equal pieces and store it in a cool place.
