Coconut Burfi

Ingredients

  • Coconut - 1 cup (freshly grated)
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 2 (powdered)
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with 1 tbsp ghee.

  2. Add freshly grated coconut and stir on low flame for 2 minutes. Do not let the color change for coconut.

  3. Now add 1/2 cup of sugar and keep stirring.

  4. Add 2 tbsp milk and keep stirring.

  5. Once it starts thickening and combines, add cardamom powder and give a quick stir.

  6. Grease a pan with ghee. Pour the cooked content into it and flatten it.

  7. Once it cools down, cut with a ghee greased knife.

  8. Refrigerate it and consume this sweet dish in few days.
