Mint Rice / Pudina Rice

Pudina rice is an aromatic rice dish made with mint and blend of spices. Mint is one of the most aromatic herbs with many health benefits. The moment you cook something with it, the whole house starts smelling minty. It is highly beneficial in summer time as it helps to keep your body cool. I simply love anything which is cooked with these aromatic leaves and thought of making some mint rice for lunch today. You can serve this rice with some raita and papad.

Hmm, I wonder if I would like this. I have had mint in tea before and liked it, so maybe so!

I learned to love mint in Egypt and Basmati rice in the Middle East. This recipe sounds really good (except for the cardamon, which I'm not too crazy about). Thank you, Priya! I'd love to try this recipe! =)

I enjoy Basmati Rice and I enjoy mint so this looks like something I will try the next time I make rice, and here in Mexico that will be later today.
