Kambu Dosa made with pearl millet is a very healthy breakfast option. Pearl Millet is highly beneficial for people with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. People who want to lose weight can incorporate this in their meals and see the changes. Enjoy this dish using minimal oil..

How to make Kambu Dosa/Pearl Millet Dosa?

Ingredients:
Pearl millet/Kambu Dosa – 1 cup
Idli Rice/Boiled Rice – 2 cups
Urad Dal – 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tbsp
Cooking Oil/Sesame Oil
Method:
Soak the Pearl millet, idli rice and urad dal along with fenugreek
seeds in some water in separate bowls for 5-6 hours. Now grind the urad dal
with fenugreek seeds in your wet grinder or mixie with enough water to make a
smooth batter. Next grind the millet and rice with water. Transfer the contents in a pan
and add some salt to taste and mix it well. If you feel the batter is too thick
add some more water. Leave it overnight or 6-7 hours for fermentation.

Heat a tawa, grease with oil. Scoop a ladle full of the batter and
spread to a circular shape. Pour few drops of oil along the sides of the dosa.
Turn over once it reaches golden colour. Remove the dosa when it is golden on
both sides.  Serve it hot with chutney.
